Thanks to a grant from the National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund, these activities for 6 - 14 years are affordable and well staffed. ILEAP has teamed up with the Riding for Disabled HQ at Lowlands for an after-school club to build your confidence around our equine friends whilst learning to ride.
The group of 6 is split into two smaller groups, each taking turns to ride in the manage. Beginners will be on guide ropes and each horse has a volunteer to support the participants. As they gain experience and confidence, participants will learn the techniques of steering, trotting and cantering.
Research has suggested that spending time with animals in an outdoor environment is beneficial to mental health and wellbeing.
Please wear long trousers and long -sleeved jackets. The riding school can provide hats and boots for you to wear, although you are welcome to bring your own.

Calling all Harry Potter Fans!
You are invited to enjoy a very 'Harry Christmas' at the Warner Bros. Stuidio Tour, London.
Join Charlie and Vanessa on this journey through Hogwarts in the Snow. This is a magical time of year where fan favorite sets are dressed in festive decoration.
The group will explore all areas of the tour, from sets to props, make up, special FX as well as creature FX and the art department.
We will learn how all things Harry P came to be, from the concept to the final product.
Staff will transport the small group in cars from the muster point at Stratford Parkway train station.
Please bring a packed lunch (or money to buy lunch at the cafe), and a refilable water bottle. Don't forget some money for the gift shop!
