Request from ILEAP Member: We have a long serving member who is looking for a 1:1 to join his Care team. The interview would be with the family and the hours agreed with them. They mention a sleep in from 8pm -8am which may suit some of our staff, plus additional shifts to suit both parties
Request from ILEAP Member: We are looking for a 1:1 for a 24 year old young man. He attends ILEAP group activities currently. His 1:1 will be able to keep him engaged in activities and take him away from the group when things get too much for him or the rest of the group. He is very repetitive and hence draining so patience and diversion tactics are required, to keep him on track and to give his peers a short break from his repetitive behaviours.
Request from ILEAP Member: ILEAP will hopefully be launching a Monday Matters Community Workshop from the 4th November 2024. We are hoping that the session will provide a safe space for our members to have a base in Stratford to access community provision and build partnerships with local providers, raising awareness and facilitating social change
