About ILEAP

ILEAP is a charity supporting people with additional needs across South Warwickshire. While many of our activities take place in Kenilworth, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick, we’re always happy to welcome members from further afield.
As long as you’re able to travel to our sessions, you’re very welcome to join us.

Who we support

ILEAP supports people aged 4 and over, offering a children’s, youth and adult programme of inclusive leisure activities.
Many of our members have mild to moderate learning disabilities, and we warmly welcome anyone with additional needs to join us. Our sessions are designed to be flexible and supportive, so everyone can take part in a way that works for them.

What we do

At ILEAP, our activities are shaped by our members and delivered right at the heart of the local community.

We run sessions throughout the year — during school holidays, most evenings and weekends (excluding Bank Holidays) — giving people regular opportunities to stay active, social and connected.

Our wide range of inclusive activities means there’s something for everyone. These include day trips, weekends away, cookery clubs, youth clubs, music and dance sessions, arts and crafts, social nights, pamper sessions, sports and games, swimming, cinema visits and parties.

We also offer a variety of unique experiences such as canal trips, cycle rides, country walks, Bhangra dancing and African drumming — all designed to be fun, engaging and accessible.

Whatever the activity, our focus is always the same: creating safe, inclusive spaces where people can build confidence, make friends and enjoy new experiences.

Our priorities

Safety is ILEAP’s number one priority, closely followed by fun and friendship. This combination ensures that parents and carers can leave their loved ones in the knowledge that they will be safe and supported whilst having a great time at their chosen leisure activities.

Why choose ILEAP

Taking part in ILEAP activities helps build confidence, boost self-esteem and support greater independence.

We go the extra mile to make sure everything we offer is shaped by our members, with activities that are personalised and meaningful to each individual. Our user-led approach means people feel heard, valued and able to take part in a way that works for them.

We’re proud to have been supporting families since 2000, and we continue to grow and improve by listening to the people we work with. The feedback we receive from our members, families and partners plays a big part in shaping what we do.

At ILEAP, we work alongside families to create a programme that is supportive, inclusive and truly makes a difference.
