ILEAP and RSC Play in a Day, Act II
Following on from the successful drama workshop in Feb HT, ILEAP and RSC have teamed up for Act II, offering our members another fantastic theatrical experience.
Join ILEAP staff member Ellen from the drama crew for this creative and fun filled day.
Working with RSC staff to celebrate the spooky season, ILEAP members will explore the production of 'Macbeth', taking certain aspects to create their own version.
Don't worry, we will abide by theatre ritual and not say the name out-loud whilst in the theatre, instead referring to it as 'The Scottish Play'.
There are plenty of parts for budding actors to create their own and themes to explore such as fate, fortune and free will.
After exploring the characters, costumes and props, members will have loads of fun reenacting scenes from the play.
Please bring a packed lunch as well as a drink. ILEAP staff will meet members at the entrance to The Clore Learning Centre, which is located on Waterside, next to Carluccio's Restaurant. There is a lift to the workshop space and an accessible toilet.
Please can we ask that no one arrives prior to session start time at 11am, as another group will be entering the building and the entranceway will be congested.
